Meal Prep

Make the week easier without making food boring.

Prep practical meals ahead, start with protein, build the balance around it, and make food you’ll actually want to eat when tomorrow gets busy.

How I Build Meal Prep

Start with the anchor. Build the rest around it.

Meal prep doesn’t have to mean eating the exact same bland plate every day. I start with the part that gives the meal structure, then build a plate that still feels like real food.

01

Protein

Chicken, turkey, eggs, fish, cottage cheese, or another protein source gives me a place to start.

02

Build the Plate

Add vegetables, fruit, rice, potatoes, quinoa, bread, or another familiar food that makes sense for the meal.

03

Portion It

Divide the meal into practical portions so tomorrow’s decision is already easier.

04

Keep the Flavor

Season the food like food. Garlic, herbs, spice, Sazón, Maggi, and the flavors I actually enjoy still belong here.

The Flavor Balance

Meal prep should make life easier—not make food feel like punishment.

I want food in the refrigerator that makes the easier choice feel like a good choice—not something I have to force myself to eat.

That means familiar ingredients, practical portions, enough protein for my own goals, vegetables and fruit, carbohydrates and fats that fit the meal, and seasoning that actually tastes like something.

Prep the food. Keep the flavor. Build the balance.

Not every meal has to be complicated to be worth looking forward to.
